Hi there, here is a quick update from my latest photography activities, a nice variety of some spectacular events during the past weekends. My Facebook followers have already seen some of the photos, and more is still in the queue for processing.
Love in the Air
There was love in the air as I had the priviledge to witness and capture the wedding of my friends. It was a nice sunny summer day with lots of laughter. Some of the photos have been loaded into my recently updated www-portfolio.
Aces of the Skies
Malmi Airport in Helsinki hosted their 80 year anniversary airshow. I had a photography pass and possibility shoot from the special stand above the fence. I arrived early to get a good spot. It was raining heavily for the first few hours. Only the most serious photographers were present during that time. It was essential to have proper gear to cope with the weather. Luckily the rainy clouds moved aside and rest of the day was sunny with some awesome flying and spectacular planes. Here is Phil Lawton with Valmet Viima. Zombieland Linnanmäki – Experiment #0
On the 3rd of September the walking dead took over the Linnanmäki amusement park. There was a zombie walk event where over hundred walkers paraded around the park. After the walk the zombies scared people by taking turns in the rides. There is some quite graphic content from the event at my Facebook album.
